If you have a child that is on an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) I am sure with the new school year starting, your stress levels are at an all time high.
With a new school year your child may be dealing with:
- new teachers
- new routines and
- maybe even new students
All of these can be scary for anyone, but for a child with a disability and their parents this can be absolutely nerve wracking.
Check out my IEP TIP for today on the topic of “Brain Dump”:
Take 15 minutes to brain dump all of the concerns and/or questions you have on your child’s IEP. Then pick 2 things that you can get done immediately that will have an impact on your stress.
