Want to have that young summer look for summer?

Summer is here and we all want that fresh summer look to our face without having a ton of makeup on.

1) First, it all starts with having great skin

We are in the era of anti-aging products. But a great moisturizer to keep our skin hydrated, firm and young looking is really the start.

Let me make a suggestion:

3) CC Cream

I use CC creams and I won’t go back to the original foundation. CC Creams are great for a more mature skin as they cover redness and imperfections, refine the skin texture and can also make enlarged pores look reduced. 4) Concealers

Concealers are great to hide pigmentation issues, rosacea and dark circles that often come along with maturer skin.

5) Loose Powder

6) Give a pop of color

7) Let Them See The Sparkle In Your Eyes

As we know our eye shape changes as we get older and we can start getting that “hooded” look to our skin. That’s why it’s important to have a good skin routine.

But stay away from the “bright colored eyeshadows”. Use a natural, light coloured shadow on the eyelid and then apply eyeliner after to make eyes ‘pop’ and look instantly younger. I only line the top part of my eye. I think not only does it take too much time lining the bottom of your eye with an eyeliner but I think it just look too much, and we are striving for a fun, glowy look to our makeup this summer!

Mascara – and then finish with a black mascara, no colored ones. I like the ones that can give my lashes a lift or the butterfly look.
